From Monday 15 to Sunday 21 March, Chambers the Cat and Tickles the Tiger embark on a week of crazy events to complete their 30 minutes of exercise a day.
Teams from Chamberlayne and Bitterne leisure centres will participate on a daily basis in thrilling activities of 30 minutes to raise money for Sport Relief. Activities will include canoeing, new age kurling, netball and much more!
The final event on Sunday 21 March will see Chambers and Tickles go head to head running the Sport Relief Mile!
Just 30 minutes of exercise a day is all it takes to improve your health, confidence and quality of life. Moderate-intensity physical activity reduces stress, gives you stronger bones and muscles and improves your sleep and body shape. It keeps you in a healthy weight, brings great sense of achievement and a more independent lifestyle in later life. And it is a great opportunity to socialise with friends!
