Every IFI Site has undergone an access audit to ensure that their 
facilities most effectively meet the needs of disabled people. These access audits focus specifically on the fitness related services including changing and catering services etc.
These access recommendations have underpinned developments at every IFI Site, and formed the basis for conditions of grant.
IFI access audits consider how a facility operates, and how physical developments impact upon delivery and vice versa. The audits also make recommendations in terms of management systems, policies and procedures.
As a basis for recommendations, IFI Access Auditors use the following documents for assessment of facilities:
