What does an IFI assessment cover?
You are assigned a designated client manager who will discuss the IFI Mark with you in more detail and help you decide the level of IFI Mark accreditation your facility could aim for. Your client manager will visit your facility, providing an assessment of your fitness service provision covering the following key elements - Facility Accessibility and Policies, Provision of inclusive fitness equipment, Staff Training and Inclusive Marketing. You will receive a report and clear action plan, recognising the places where you are already excelling and highlighting the recommendations for improvements required to meet the IFI Mark standards. You are provided with a resource manual and access to a password protected area of the IFI website, which contains additional guidance to support you to make improvements. You will have access to ongoing supoort and advice from your dedicated client manager via telephone and email. You will be supported through the process to ensure that improvements can be achieved to your identified timescales. Subject to meeting these improvements, you will be awarded IFI Mark accreditation for two years.
