Following negotiations between the two organisations ISRM is pleased to announce that it will be running a bespoke seminar on European Standards at the September LIW event.
The seminar will cover European Standards relating to both the design of swimming pools and fitness equipment, and the implications of a number of European Standards relating to the provision of fitness equipment.
Malcolm Graham a partner with GLR Architects and UK representative on a number of European Standard commitees will focus on the design of swimming pools and will be accompanied by Dawn Hughes and Claire Robson from the Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) who will be cover the implications of a number of European Standards relating to the provision of fitness equipment.
The seminar will be targeted towards Hotel and Health Club operators but will be equally as relevant for other providers of swimming pools and fitness equipment.
Commenting on the announcement Ian Wakefield ISRM's Business Development Manager said;
'European Standards are created for a variety of reasons but primarily to ensure safety and accessibility, embracing and understanding these standards is not only important to ensure you avoid litigation when things go wrong, but will also enable you to provide the highest standards possible for your customers. ISRM is delighted to be working with the Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) who have been pioneering in the development of these standards.'
Delegates wishing to attend must register with LIW beforehand.
