The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games has included IFI Stage 2 Accredited Fitness Equipment as a requirement within the tender opportunity for suppliers wishing to provide fitness equipment for the London 2012 Games.
The tender outlined that the equipment supplier should be able to provide a range of IFI Stage 2 Accredited Fitness Equipment in addition to a comprehensive list of requirements which will ensure that the needs of all Olympic and Paralympic Athletes are well supported within their competition and training areas.

Tendering for new fitness equipment?
If the answer is yes then please follow these three simple steps before purchasing fitness equipment:
1) Make sure you get a copy of the IFI’s ‘Guide to purchasing IFI Stage 2 Accredited Equipment’. This document is available free of charge and can be downloaded from the IFI website.
2) Visit the IFI website www.inclusivefitness.org to see the full range of IFI Stage 2 Accredited Equipment currently available and to find out who Suppliers are.
3) Speak to the IFI team and / or your preferred fitness equipment suppliers to find out more about IFI Stage 2 Accredited Equipment
