Parkwood Leisure – Chairman’s Award
The top award for Parkwood Leisure employees has been given to Kerry Young from Erith Leisure Centre. The award is presented to the member of staff who has excelled above and beyond the normal boundaries of their day-to-day role.
Kerry, who works as the Inclusive Fitness Activator, at Erith Leisure Centre, was chosen out of 3000 employees from 50 sites spanning the length of the country. The award recognises the exceptional work that Kerry has achieved over many years.
Kerry is a firm favourite with the customers of the Centre and has been invaluable in the launch of the Inclusive Fitness Initiative at Erith Leisure Centre. The scheme was launched in July 2005 and along with other disability sports initiatives has helped Erith Leisure Centre score a top 25% score in the Sport England National Benchmarking Survey.
