The passenger lift cannot be used in the event of a fire but the platform lift can still be used as means of escape from the first floor gym. A designated refuge point is marked in the event of emergency escape being impossible due to the situation of the fire. If you have any concerns a staff member will talk you through this during your gym induction or first visit to the pools to reassure that you will be safe
