If you believe that you have what it takes to be part of a ground breaking organisation, and want to make a real difference to society, then we want to hear from you.

EFDS was established in 1998 as the umbrella organisation for disability sport in England, and has, over the last 9 years, built up a remarkable track record - working with public, private and voluntary sector partners to increase the range and quality of sport and physical activity opportunities for disabled people.

Committed to the principles of integration and mainstreaming, EFDS is looking for individuals who can bring enthusiasm, commitment and energy to our Board, as we continue to shape our strategic direction and take disability sport forward.

With an annual turnover in excess of £4m, ideal candidates will be able to maintain a strategic focus and support effective governance, whilst being pragmatic and willing to challenge.

For more information about EFDS and the opportunities that these posts present please contact Colin Chaytors, EFDS Chief Executive for an informal chat on 0161 247 5294 (cchaytors@efds.co.uk).

The EFDS is committed to the achievement of equality and diversity in both employment and service delivery. As an equality organisation we are especially keen to ensure that we continue to work towards becoming an organisation that is representative of the community that we serve and especially welcome applications from disabled women and disabled ethnic minorities.
