This month sees the IFI head across the Atlantic to Chicago for Club Industry 2008. The fitness exhibition and conference, taking place between 15 and 18 October will be hosting the first ever conference programme in the US, focusing exclusively on inclusive fitness provision illustrating how the inclusion agenda in the fitness industry really is taking hold internationally.
Sue Catton, IFI National Director will be delivering a session at the event looking at the ‘Business of Inclusive Fitness’ and asking how organisations can make commercial sense of providing an inclusive service.
On the show floor the IFI has co-ordinated a collaboration between equipment suppliers, creating an Inclusive Fitness Zone. This will be a profile of inclusive equipment from a range of suppliers, highlighting how inclusion can be seamlessly integrated into a mainstream gym environment.
