Pendle Leisure Trust’s gym at West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick is a much friendlier place for disabled people and people with health problems, thanks to the Inclusive Fitness Initiative.
The installation of gym equipment in April 2005 and extensive training of our gym staff has made exercising more accessible to everyone. It has had a great impact on all members of the Community who has used the facility.
On Thursday 24th April 2008, West Craven are holding an Open Day to celebrate the third anniversary of their accreditation. Regular IFI customers and anyone who would like information regarding the gym are invited from 11am- 3pm and Inclusive Activator, Anne Meachem and fitness instructors will be on hand to answer any questions.
