What support is available?
The IFI is able to offer applicant organisations support with an equivalent value of £8,500 which includes the following key elements:
- A full facility access audit and action plan, linked to the IFI Mark framework
- An initial site visit and follow up by a dedicated IFI consultant
- Additional remote support on an ongoing basis
- Access to IFI level one training, relevant to the size of your facility (hosted on-site)
- Access to circa 125 Level 2 / Level 3 fitness course run on a regional basis every two months for a period of eighteen months
- Training booking and management service
- Access to up to 50 marketing seminars, providing advice on inclusive marketing strategies targeting disabled people
- Outreach support targeting disabled people within your local area
- National IFI Marketing Officer dedicated to ongoing national links, PR, partnership development and national profile to support local work
- Mystery visitor and report
- Accreditation through the IFI Mark framework
Your obligation
Through this programme, applicant organisations will be required to do the following:
- Attain provisional level within the IFI Mark framework
- Illustrate at least £8,500 expenditure across, inclusive fitness equipment and access developments
